Scrap Maze

The pathways of Scrap Maze are filled with over 540 different fabrics, the majority commercially dyed cottons, with a good number of cross-dyed fabrics, clothing scraps, and hand-dyed fabrics also included. Among all these fabrics many colors may appear the same, yet only one fabric appears twice. This maze serves as a “scrap portfolio” of eight years of quilting, as most of the fabrics were a part of the colorways of projects past. These fabrics and more have been reordered to create a new journey through hue, saturation, and value.
